TITLE OF THE POSITION OFFERED: Installation and maintenance of water quality analysis sensors.
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Indefinite.
PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY: GROUP III. Technician.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Advanced vocational training program: Advanced Technician in Industrial Automation and Robotics or Advanced Technician in Telecommunications and Computer Systems.
In the case of degrees obtained abroad (including EU degrees), applicants must provide proof that they hold the corresponding recognition or credential attesting to the equivalence of their degree, if applicable.
OTHER REQUISITES: Personal vehicle for travel to external facilities related to the project.
WEEKLY DEDICATION: This will be a full time position, and the workweek will consist of 35 hours, from Monday to Friday, from 8h to 15h.
GROSS ANNUAL REMUNERATION: The employee will receive an annual gross salary of 23.047,08 euros.
PROJECT TITLE: Development of UPCT's proprietary spectrophotometry and fluorimetry equipment, licensed by ACCIONA, to characterize the quality of reclaimed municipal wastewater for continuous, real-time reuse.
DURATION: The term of this contract will be contingent upon the availability of budgetary funds for the aforementioned line of research.

INTENDED DATE OF DEPUTY EMPLOYMENT: immediate.
Tasks to be carried out
The selected candidate will be responsible for a range of activities related to the assembly, installation, and commissioning of electromechanical equipment for wastewater analysis. The main tasks include:
- Assembly, commissioning, calibration, and maintenance of new, patented equipment based on spectrophotometry and fluorimetry—technology developed by the UPCT and licensed by ACCIONA—to characterize the quality of reclaimed urban wastewater intended for reuse.
- Mechanical assembly according to drawings and configuration of embedded systems (Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
- Programming and optimization of software in Python and Arduino for the control of the equipment.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance, including the repair of equipment in the event of malfunctions.

Merits to be assessed and evaluation criteria
Academic background (10%): Grades earned in the Advanced Technical Diploma in Industrial Automation and Robotics or the Advanced Technical Diploma in Telecommunications and Computer Systems will be considered.
Specific Training (10%): Accredited training related to the following will be evaluated:
- Assembly, commissioning, calibration, and maintenance of equipment based on spectrophotometry and fluorimetry.
- Mechanical assembly according to blueprints and adjustment of embedded systems (Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
- Programming and optimization of software in Python and Arduino for controlling the equipment.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance, including repair of equipment in the event of malfunctions.
Professional experience (45%): Proven professional experience will be evaluated related to:
- Assembly, commissioning, calibration, and maintenance of equipment based on spectrophotometry and fluorimetry.
- Mechanical assembly according to blueprints and adjustment of embedded systems (Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
- Software programming and optimization on P equipment.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance, including the repair of equipment in the event of malfunctions.
- Activities that demonstrate leadership and autonomy, among others, will be valued:
Languages (5%): Official certificates in English or other languages that facilitate the use of software and the completion of purchases in the international sector will be valued.
Personal interview (30%): Suitability for the job profile, personal skills, and flexibility to work in diverse environments and sectors will be evaluated.
