The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University appoints a selection procedure for the position of Instructor at the Department of Public Health of the Faculty of Medicine MU.

The Department of Public Health is an educational and research workplace of the Medical Faculty of MU. Provides teaching of students in theoretical and preclinical fields. You can also learn more about us on our website, Facebook or Instagram.

Workplace: Brno, the Czech Republic

Employment: part-time – based on agreement

Start date: September-October 2025

Scope of work:

• Participation in theoretical and practical teaching focused on the determinants of population health
• Preparation of study and teaching materials
• Independent research and development activities, including publishing and presenting research results
• Contribution to the organizational support of research and teaching activities

Required qualifications:

• Completed Master’s degree
• Ongoing or planned doctoral studies in hygiene, preventive medicine, epidemiology, or a related field are an advantage
• Teaching experience at a university level in the field of public health or healthcare
• Ability to conduct independent professional and scientific work, including publication activity
• Capability to actively participate in international conferences or professional seminars
• Proficiency in the English language
• Excellent command of the Czech language, both spoken and written
• Active approach, initiative, and willingness for further education
• Civic and moral integrity
