Full-time members of the faculty are professional educators who have the primary responsibility of fulfilling the Colleges’ mission, vision, values, strategic plan, President’s & Board of Trustees’ charges and educational philosophy, and primary goal of providing a quality education for all students attending the College. Faculty members are classified according to the ranks of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. This position is intended to be in software development instruction. This position is intended to be within the department of Engineering Technology and may include instruction in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Engineering, and Mechanical Technologies. Teaching responsibilities may include AC/DC systems (analog/digital), system switching and amplification, micro-controllers, and data communication/acquisition.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Instruction & Student Learning
- Teaches assigned courses as scheduled and assumes primary responsibility for and exercises oversight of the curriculum in conjunction with the Department’s policies, ensuring both the rigor of programs and the quality of instruction.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a closely related discipline and three (3) years of industry experience; OR Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related field, and one (1) year of industry experience. A State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s) is required.

Compensation Details
9-Month Instructor Salary: $51,460.00-57,635.20
Optional Summer Semester (Full load): $16,648.82-18,646.68
