& Responsibilities The Instructor of Music in Theory/Composition will teach music theory-related courses including: Undergraduate/Graduate Music Theory Orchestration Form and Analysis Aural Theory Counterpoint Applied Music Composition Additional duties will be assigned based on the strengths of the selected applicant and the Department of Music needs Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Applicant should demonstrate evidence of excellence in teaching and artistic leadership in the areas of theory and composition. Evidence of active scholarly and creative work is preferred. General Days/Hours Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM plus additional hours for musical events on weekends and weekday evenings.
