Integrated Studies, Adjunct Faculty
Job Summary

Teaching assignments will include undergraduate courses taught on the main campus, online, or at off-campus sites within our region.
Job Description
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Teaching assigned undergraduate general education Humanities courses, upper-level interdisciplinary "Issues" courses (e.g., environment, science, technology, politics, etc.), and/or the program's service-learning and sustainability course, IDS 3300 Foundations of Civic Engagement.
- Planning and teaching the assigned course(s).
- Preparing syllabi and instructional materials; coordinating lectures and tests.
- Mentoring students.
- Using the Canvas teaching platform to manage courses.
- Contributing to course and/or curriculum development, if applicable.
- Functioning as an effective, active, and collegial team member.
Other duties:
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Additional Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in relevant discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching at the university level.

- Possessing the knowledge of general written standards and procedures utilized, and having the ability to read, interpret, and follow procedural and policy manual related to the job tasks.

- Applying effective techniques to create working relationships with others to achieve common goals; successfully communicating and collaborating with others to achieve goals.
