Job Description
The International Partnerships Manager is responsible for establishing new and maintaining current memorandums of understanding (MOU), international agreements, and contracts. This position will also be overseeing the Sponsored Student Program, J-1 Exchange Program, and Travel Registry.
Position Responsibilities:
International Agreements & Contracts
- Implement and maintain international agreements and contracts. Maintaining the lifecycle of a contract and agreement from drafting, evaluation, execution and compliance
- Assist with the contract renegotiation and renewal process
- Develop and deliver progress reports, maintain requirements, documentation, track progress on international MOUs, agreements, and contracts. Keeping accurate and up to date records
- Provide contracts administrators' reports in preparation for meetings, conference calls, etc.
- Meet timelines/deadlines regarding contract obligations
Budget & Financial Oversight
- Develop and monitor the Sponsored Student Program and budget
- Track payments and monthly expenses, obtain approval for all expenditures
Project and Program Management
- Facilitate organizational procedures related to planning and scheduling; ensure deadlines are met
- Coordinate and participate in international events and campus-wide activities associated with sponsored student programs
- Serve as a Point of Contact for agreements, contracts and international partners
- Serve as sponsored Student Program Liaison, communicating with third-party organizations and foreign governments
- Respond to internal and external correspondence with a sense of urgency
Student/Scholar & Immigration Support
- Assist in recruiting and retain sponsored students for the university
- Plan, develop and implement sponsored student programming events including field trips, events and meetings with prospective and current sponsored students
- Ensure effective advising for students/scholars on immigration and academic issues related to contracts
- Ensure appropriate immigration documents are created for incoming students, scholars, administrators, and visitors
Communication & Marketing
- Create, modify, and maintain web pages in conjunction with contracts and agreements
Reporting
- Compile data, reports and presentations as needed
- Assist the department with other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $52,916 to $56,085.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
