Description

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students and residents as well as training cardiovascular fellows in interventional procedures.

Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients in an outpatient setting, inpatient consultations, and performance of cardiac catheterization procedures in the hospital procedural labs at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center as well as affiliated satellite clinics/hospitals. Specific qualifications include training and the ability to independently perform coronary and peripheral interventions.

Applicants must have subspecialty training and documented skills in all aspects of diagnosis and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures.
