Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues to ensure system stability and user satisfaction.
- Support the implementation of new systems and applications to meet specific academic or administrative requirements.
- Partner with university departments to understand their needs and propose technology-based solutions
- Help align IT strategies with the university's broader mission and goals by evaluating and recommending new technologies.
- Create technical documentation and communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Conduct thorough testing of updates within the test environment before deploying them to the production environment.

Education and Experience:
- Required Education: Computer Sciences (BS), or in Computer Software Engineering
- Years of Relevant Experience: minimum 3 years of similar work experience, preferably in an academic environment .
Specific Skills or Expertise:
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems with experience configuring, managing permissions, and maintaining accurate organizational and employee data records.
- Experience with system troubleshooting and support, resolving application issues, access problems, and ensuring smooth daily operations for end-users.
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts for data validation, reporting, and supporting administrative system workflows.
- Familiarity with academic and administrative software, including learning management systems, library systems, and student information systems.
- Experience in testing system updates and documenting processes, including preparing user guides and supporting training sessions for staff.
