• Academic Level E, $218,799 pa plus 17% Super
• Full Time, Fixed Term Opportunity until 30 June 2028

About the role:

The University of Canberra (UC) Faculty of Health, in partnership with Canberra Health Services (CHS), is seeking an outstanding and visionary academic leader for a Joint Professor of Allied Health Research appointment.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of allied health research, practice, and education across academia and the public health sector. As a joint appointee, you will work across both institutions, driving excellence in research, fostering collaboration, and translating evidence into improved clinical outcomes for the ACT community and beyond.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving translation of research into clinical practice, improving service delivery and patient outcomes
• Fostering collaboration across disciplines, sectors, and institutions
• Developing national and international partnerships that inform innovative clinical practice
• Working closely with senior leaders within CHS and UC to strengthen collaboration between the 2 entities
• Contributing to strategic planning, mentoring staff, and enhancing research capability across the allied health workforce.
• Lead innovative, externally funded research programs in allied health and maintain an outstanding personal research profile and academic standing
• Represent UC and CHS in senior internal and external forums
