Journalism Instructor Pool-Part-Time

Job Description

We’re seeking instructors to teach the following courses, with the potential for continuing appointments in these and/or other courses based on need. Appointment is contingent on class enrollment for each class, each semester. JOUR 210 - Multimedia Journalism - Spring 2026 - in-person or online. For JOUR 210, students learn basic photography, audio and video production skills, and produce multimedia projects following the tenets and ethical practices of journalism. We have multiple podcast studios, a multimedia/video studio, and industry-level photo/audio/video equipment for students to use in their reporting. The candidate(s) would design their own syllabi and train students in use of necessary technology, and teach courses with both lecture and lab hours.
