Research Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Title of the project: Development of sensing systems for rapid and in situ quality assessment of Black rice, Ginger (Zingiber officinale) Elsholtzia Griffithii and Cinnamomum Zeylanicum of north-east India using spectroscopic (NIR and Raman) technologies

Sponsoring/Funding Agency: Department of Biotechnology (DBT)

Essential Qualification:

• ME/ M. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering / EEE/ Instrumentation/ Biotechnology or related area with first class.
• GATE/NET qualified.
• Working/research experience in the field of VLSI system design will be given preference.

Desirable Qualifications: Strong Background in programming Machine Learning algorithms using Python and Verilog Programming.

Fellowship:

• 31,000 per month + HRA as per norms for GATE/NET qualified candidates
• 25,000 per month + HRA as per norms for other candidates
