Three departments, CSE, EE & ME were initiated. The first year had its highs and lows but was an exciting period that will be etched in the minds of the pioneer batch. In January 2009, IIT Hyderabad admitted 11 PhD students.

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Name of Research Project : Defining subcellular and disease-specific RNA-protein interaction networks underlying repeat expansion disorders using in vivo RNA-tagging and proximity labelling

Essential qualifications:

• MTech in any area of Life Sciences/Biotechnology, MSc degree in any allied area of Life Sciences/Biotechnology, BTech/BPharm/BE (4-years degree programme) in any allied area of Life Sciences/Biotechnology, BVSc, MBBS, with minimum 60% marks.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in molecular cloning, protein expression and purification

Job Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Fellowship: a) Rs. 37,000 + HRA as applicable for scholars selected through GATE/ CSIR-UGC NET or any other National level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions.

b) Rs. 31,000 + HRA as applicable for scholars who do not fall under (a) selection category
