LabCup Technician
About the role
We are seeking to appoint a LabCup Technician to join the Department of Biology. Reporting to the Departmental Laboratory Manager, you will provide dedicated support for the rollout and day-to-day management of the LabCup inventory, risk assessment and asset management system across our laboratories. You will maintain accurate data on chemicals, equipment and risk assessments; barcode and track assets; and work closely with research groups and the Building Operations Team to ensure consistent standards. The role also includes producing SOPs and guidance and training staff and students.
About you
You should bring laboratory experience, familiarity with hazardous chemicals, strong attention to detail and good IT skills. Experience with LabCup or other LIMS is essential.
