Background of the recruitment and description of the project
At Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, we aim to realize a safe, secure, and sustainable society and to solve various social issues, and we are engaged in research fields such as information and communications, computing, sensing, power electronics and systems, quantum devices, semiconductor devices, materials, space technologies, mobility, and security. In this call, we are looking for candidates who will significantly expand research in fields related to electrical and electronic engineering, as well as those who can play an active role internationally.

Work content and job description
- The successful candidate will be required to conduct leading and international research related to Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
- The successful candidate will be required to teach classes in Japanese and/or English for undergraduate and graduate students as well as supervise undergraduate and graduate students conducting thesis research.
- The successful candidate will engage in activities within one of the eight Visionary Initiatives (VIs), which serve as interdisciplinary research hubs.
- The successful candidate will be required to perform other administrative duties necessary for the operation of the university, schools, or department.
