Learning Technologist (LMS Migration) (x3 posts)
About the role
We are looking for 3 Learning Technologists to support the successful migration of content to the new Learning Management System (LMS) platform. This will involve working collaboratively with colleagues in the LMS Project Team and across the university to capture best practice, share ideas and continuously evolve our approach to supporting the LMS and associated technologies. Excellent attention to detail, ability to facilitate agreement with various stakeholders and ability to work independently and to a high standard are a must.
What you would be doing
As the postholder, you will work closely with the Faculty of Medicine’s Digital Education Office (DEO) and Faculty stakeholders to develop and implement processes to facilitate the smooth transition from existing systems to the new LMS. You will design, test and evaluate learning content within the new LMS, to ensure it is interactive, engaging and provide a compelling learner experience, as well as recreate existing content on the new LMS to the agreed specification.
What we are looking for
You will have a strong learning technology background, experience of migrating content between Learning Management Systems, and an understanding of learning and teaching in higher education. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and manage resistance in change management contexts are essential.

Further Information
The Digital Education Office (DEO) at Imperial College London develops and supports digital learning solutions to deliver the Faculty of Medicine’s vision of excellence in education. It supports a suite of blended and online programmes across the Faculty, as well as open content (MOOC) and online short courses provision.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week). This role is for a fixed-term contract for 18 months.
