This interdisciplinary socio-legal approach creates resilient graduates who appreciate how their learning is being constantly disrupted and reshaped by the challenges of the 21st century. Our law degrees are innovative in how they ingrain the professional community into their design, delivery, and evaluation, to ensure we develop employment ready graduates. BU graduates lead in the employment statistics of the law firms in the South-West. Our sociology and criminology courses examine the social, political, economic, cultural and psychological dynamics of local and global communities, as well as how crime and criminal justice shape the societies we live in.
