We are seeking experienced and progressive enabling educators to join our Academic Pathway Programs as a Lecturer, Access and Equity.
These positions play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of high-quality, innovative and inclusive enabling courses that meet the needs of students, schools and communities, as well as contributing to expanding inclusive curriculum and teaching practice across the university.
About the Opportunity
In this role you have the opportunity to contribute to ECU’s well-established enabling programs, helping to shape enabling education that remains responsive, student-centred and impactful, particularly for key equity groups. Working collaboratively with colleagues in Academic Pathway Programs and across the university, you will lead the design and development of units, teach units, contribute to academic governance and oversee sessional academic staff. Emphasising evidence-based approaches, you will have the opportunity to engage in the scholarship of teaching and learning, contributing to research and evaluation in enabling education and inclusive practice.
About you
We are looking for early career and experienced educators in enabling education, with knowledge and practice in teaching and learning, curriculum design, leadership and academic governance commensurate with career level. You will be able to demonstrate skills and achievement in supporting enabling students’ transition to university, and contemporary understandings of and a demonstrated commitment to equitable and inclusive practice. You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.

The Level A ongoing position attracts remuneration $83,771 to $112,295 pro rata per annum and the Level B ongoing position attracts a remuneration $117,905 to $139,307 pro rata, plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
