As of 2 January 2026, the School of Business will merge with other organizational units to form a new School of Business, Law, Humanities and Pathways.

An opportunity is now available for a passionate and committed Lecturer (Accounting)Education Specialist to join our academic team.

What you'll do

As a Lecturer (Accounting), you will:

  • Contribute to the advancement of innovative and reflective scholarly teaching practices.
  • Embed employability, digital literacy, and inclusive principles into your teaching.
  • Engage in professional development and scholarly activities that maintain discipline expertise.
  • Participate in service and engagement activities within the School, profession, and broader community.
  • Support continuous improvement in learning and teaching quality, aligned with UniSQ’s Academic Employee Expectations Framework.

What will help you succeed

We are seeking an educator who:

  • Holds a doctoral or master’s qualification in Accounting or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Demonstrates teaching expertise in Accounting in a higher education setting.
  • Shows evidence of reflective, engaged, and scholarly approaches to teaching that improve student outcomes and graduate employability.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build constructive and collaborative relationships.
  • Aligns with UniSQ’s core values of Respect, Integrity, and Excellence.

Term: Full-time continuing appointment (37.5 hours/week)

Salary: Total remuneration range $133,256 to $157,504 pa (includes salary range of $112,381 to $132,831 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)

Closes: Wednesday, 24 September 2025 at 11:30 pm (AEST)

Start Date: Not earlier than 2 January 2026.
