"Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Sport Management"

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Sport Management within UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science.

The UCD SPHPSS is a research-intensive School with a broad range of teaching and research interests across the fields of public health, dietetics, food safety, physiotherapy, sport management, sport science, and occupational safety and health. The School is committed to delivering the highest standards of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as research supervision.

SPHPSS is a market leader in the study of sport, with UCD consistently ranked in the top 100 globally in the QS World University Rankings for Sports-Related Subjects. The UCD MSc in Sport Management is currently ranked among the top 15 in the SportBusiness Global Postgraduate Rankings 2024.

This is a five-year position. The successful candidate will primarily contribute to teaching and research in the area of Sport Management and may also be required to support teaching and research supervision across the School, as needed.

95 Lecturer / Assistant Professor (above the bar) _2010 Salary Scale: €64,753 - €102,539 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
