The Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (BiUH) is the first international independent university in the Hainan Free Trade Port. Our approach combines theory and practice following the renowned "Work-Integrated University-Industry Collaborative Talent Training Model."

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Teach and assess at least 3 courses in the following core subjects:
- Data Structures and Algorithms (C++ / Java)
- Advanced Algorithms and Complexity
- Programming 2 (OOP with Python)
- C++ Programming
- Develop course materials, teaching plans, assignments, and assessment methods aligned with international academic standards and applied learning principles.
- Guide students in practical algorithmic problem-solving, competitive programming, and efficient software optimization.
- Supervise student capstone projects, theses, group work, and practical software engineering activities.
- Engage in applied research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
- Collaborate with industry partners for consulting projects and practical student training in real-world software environments.
Job Qualifications
- Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- Strong theoretical and practical foundation in core computer science principles, algorithmic complexity analysis, and modern data structures.
- Proven programming proficiency in languages such as C++, Java, or Python for algorithm design and performance tuning.
- Experience supervising undergraduate projects, student research reports, or hackathons/programming competitions (e.g., ICPC, LeetCode challenges) is highly desirable.
- Industry experience in software development, algorithm design, or system performance optimization is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English (working language of the program); Chinese or German language skills are a plus.
