Lecturer

The CU Succeed program enables high school juniors and seniors to take CU Denver courses in their high schools for dual credit during the school day. All applicants into this position are seeking approval as CU Denver Adjunct Faculty members to teach CU Denver courses that are requested by Denver area High Schools.
The posting will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers for the CU Succeed Silver program. Candidates hired from this pool will fill temporary, non-tenure track positions and will teach no more than two courses per semester. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50%) and will be made semester-by-semester, depending on the needs of Denver area High Schools. Therefore, this posting does not necessarily reflect a current open position. This temporary Lecturer recruitment pool is anticipated to remain continuously active.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position has been established at $3,000-$3,400 per course, per semester.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters Degree or 18 credit hours at the graduate level in the discipline you are seeking approval in

- Detailed, CU Denver-style syllabus for the proposed course(s)**
*Letters of recommendation should be from individuals who can provide information about your knowledge in the field, your teaching skills, and other qualifications that make you qualified to teach at the university level. Letters can be from colleagues.
