- Commencement Salary: $103,833 (Level A) $116,843 (Level B) per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
About you
You are an accomplished and committed educator bringing expertise in teaching and research across Data Science. About the role
Reporting to a Professorial Lead, the Lecturer: Data Science is responsible for the development, delivery and coordination of courses within STEM’s undergraduate, Honours and postgraduate programs and for contributing to STEM’s research agenda.
The position will contribute independently and as part of a team to support STEM’s teaching and research outcomes in the Data Science discipline, and will carry out activities to maintain and develop scholarly research and/or professional activities.

To be successful you will need
- A tertiary qualification and/or a doctoral qualification in Data Science or closely related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to undertake research that contributes to UniSA’s research strengths and strategic directions in Data Science
- Demonstrated ability or potential in teaching, including design and preparation of teaching activities and resources in Data Science
- Understanding of and experience in a range of contemporary teaching methodologies for excellent curriculum delivery, including digital techniques where appropriate
- Strong written and oral communication skills demonstrated through research reports, research publications or educational materials, and through presentations at conferences, committees, seminars or teaching
