About the Role
Are you ready to influence how future teachers lead, inspire and create change? This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-driven Department of Education that is deeply committed to social impact, innovation and excellence in teaching and research.
Located within the School of Social Sciences, Media, Film and Education, the Department of Education is a vibrant academic community united by a shared purpose: to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and the communities we serve. This ethos shapes everything we do — from how we teach and research, to how we engage with students, schools and professional partners.
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking academic with a passion for educational leadership to play a key role in our Initial Teacher Education programs. - Proven experience in tertiary teaching and unit coordination, particularly in educational leadership
- A strong track record (or emerging profile) in innovative curriculum and teaching design across on-campus, blended and online environments
- A developing research profile with evidence of quality outputs
- A genuine commitment to mentoring and capacity-building for students
- Strong organisational skills, initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across academic teams
