Reading School of Art is looking to recruit an ambitious lecturer to undertake teaching, research and administration in the Department of Art within the School of Arts and Communication Design. The role holder will be actively involved in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, research and research supervision, as well as assessment, marking and administration in a variety of academic capacities. The post holder should be willing and able to take on substantial administrative and leadership roles in the department to ensure continuity and succession planning.

You will have :

  • Record of excellent research publications or other outputs
  • Teaching and assessment at HE level including module convening and design
  • A demonstrable, active commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Willingness and ability to take on key administrative and leadership roles within the department
  • Knowledge of the Higher Education sector
