Compensation: $1,440 – $1,700 per credit hour
Position Overview
- Course: ARI 375 – Printmaking for non-majors (3 credit hours)
Responsibilities:
- Teach fundamentals and technical principles of printmaking (e.g., copper etchings, hand-carved woodcuts, mono printing).
- Syllabus development and updating, preparation of lectures/projects.
- Maintain office hours.
- Grade student work and submit progress reports/final grades.
- Build positive rapport with students and faculty.
Workload: 5 hours per week in-class + 10 hours/week for preparation
Qualifications
Required:
- MFA or equivalent
- Experience teaching a variety of print processes
Preferred:
- Prior experience teaching non-majors or undergraduate students in a studio setting
