The post-holder will live and work in Shenzhen, China and will teach primarily on the newly established BSc Biomedical Science programme set up as part of the SUSTech - KCL Joint Education Institute (JEI).

We are particularly interested in candidates able to teach undergraduates in research aspects of biomedical science, pharmacology, medical genetics and /or bioinformatics, alongside making contributions to transferable/academic skills training. Candidates with experience of teaching and/or supporting international students’ learning in these specialities are encouraged to apply.

The post holders will be accountable for quality assurance of their teaching and peer review of others to sustain and develop high quality education. Academic citizenship through activities that underpin excellence in education is expected, including sharing best practice and learning from others.

The post holders will:

  • develop and deliver education on our BSc Biomedical Science Joint Education Programme.
  • provide student support and undertake education-related administrative duties as directed by the Programme Lead(s) of the relevant joint programme.
