"Lecturer in Filmmaking"

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Filmmaking to join our multiple award-winning UG and PGT Filmmaking programmes in the School of Arts based at City Campus.

You will be expected to deliver on a variety of filmmaking modules however we have a specific interest in those with skills and experience in documentary and unscripted filmmaking.

You will have extensive and recent industry experience, with the ability and experience to contribute to the academic teaching teams at UG and PGT levels.

You will also contribute to the development of professional practice aspects of student development relating to employability, professional practice, and work experience.

You will have significant teaching experience at HE in documentary and broader filmmaking areas, involved with curriculum design and delivery, assessment and pastoral student care.

This post is based at our City Campus in Bristol city centre which comprises of Bower Ashton Studios, Arnolfini, Spike Island and Watershed and is home to UWE Bristol's creative and cultural subjects.
