Job Description
This posting establishes a pool of candidates who can teach one studio or technical seminar per semester in Landscape Architecture on an as needed basis. This posting does not necessarily reflect a current, open position. Single course appointments will be made semester-by-semester, as teaching needs arise.
This temporary Lecturer pool is anticipated to remain continuously active through August 2026, at which point, all applications will be cleared from the pool.
What you will do:
The Department of Landscape Architecture in the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Colorado Denver is seeking a pool of Lecturers from which future appointments will be made. Lecturers selected from this pool will teach in the College's graduate program. Classes taught may range from three to six credit hours and may include lectures, seminars, and studios in all teaching modes (in-person, hybrid, online, remote).
Minimum Qualifications
- A master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field, or a terminal degree and expertise in the course content is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience, a record of professional practice in landscape architecture, and a professional degree in a related field.
- Advanced degree or proven expertise in the topic for specific subjects.
- Substantive knowledge of the landscape architecture field and/or the subject matter.
