- Salary: $120,908 – $142,769 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

The Opportunity
Western Sydney University is seeking a dedicated Lecturer to contribute to high quality teaching, curriculum development, and research within the Medical Physics and Imaging discipline. You will join a collaborative academic environment committed to delivering courses that prepare graduates for success in the health, science, and technology sectors.
In this role, you will take responsibility for designing, coordinating, and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate units. You will incorporate evidence-based teaching practice, ensure assessment quality, and contribute to the continuous improvement of programs. Your work will support student learning, success, and progression within the discipline.
You will also undertake an active research program that aligns with the School and Faculty’s priorities. This includes publishing in high quality outlets, attracting research students, seeking competitive funding, and building internal and external collaborations.
What success looks like.
- Delivery of high quality, research-informed teaching across Medical Physics and Imaging.
- Effective coordination and development of subjects and assessments.
- Demonstrated research output through publications, grants, and collaborations.
- Positive engagement with students and colleagues across the School and Faculty.
- Contributions to School governance, administration, and discipline development.

About You
- A doctoral qualification in Medical Physics, Medical Imaging, Physics, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience in high quality teaching and curriculum design in a tertiary setting.
- A developing research profile with peer-reviewed outputs and collaboration experience.
- Experience supervising research students or contributing to HDR training.
- Ability to build partnerships with industry, professional bodies, or academic networks.
