FACULTY OF LAW
advertises the following:
A full-time teaching position as lecturer (m/f) in the area of social sciences, academic field of law for the course in Legal Informational Technology, Statistics and Social Sciences Research Methodology at the Faculty of Law, University in Split.
PRE-REQUISITES: Candidates must fulfil the prescribed conditions pursuant to the Employment Act (Zakon o radu) (“Narodne novine”, (National Gazette) no. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22, 46/23, 64/23) and Higher Education and Sciences Act (Zakon o visokom obrazovanju i znanstvenoj djelatnosti) („Narodne novine“(National Gazette), no. 119/22).
Together with a handwritten signed job application with contact details, candidates are obliged to submit the following: proof that they fulfill the mandatory pre-requisites as prescribed by National University, Academic and Artistic criteria („Narodne novine“, ( National Gazette) no. 42/26), curriculum vitae, photocopies of relevant diplomas, certificate of Croatian citizenship or proof of citizenship of another country and for foreign citizens proof of Croatian language knowledge, police/court clearance that the candidate is not subject to criminal proceedings (clearance must not be older than 30 days), bibliography with details of academic, teaching and professional activity and official copies of relevant articles.
Candidates who, pursuant to prescribed legal provisions, claim the right to positive employment discrimination are obliged to submit proof of meeting the prescribed conditions for that right. Such candidates gain an advantage to employment over other candidates only under equal conditions.
Candidates claiming the right to positive employment discrimination pursuant to article 101 of the Croatian Homeland War Veterans and their Families Act (Zakon o hrvatskim braniteljima iz Domovinskog rata) (Narodne novine, (National Gazette) no. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21 and 156/23) together with their job application are obliged, apart from proof of fulfilling the job position requirements, to submit all necessary proof for gaining the right to positive discrimination employment advantage. The list of documents necessary in order to attain this right is available on the Ministry of the Republic of Croatia's Croatian Veterans web page: https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843.
Candidates applying for positive discrimination employment advantage pursuant to article 48 of the Homeland War Civil Victims Act (Zakon o civilnim stradalnicima iz Domovinskog rata) (Narodne novine, (National Gazette) no. 84/21 and 13/26) together with their job application, apart from proof of fulfillment of prescribed criteria, must also submit proof of fulfilling provisions from article 49 of this Act. By submitting a job application, candidates expressly consent to authorise the Faculty of Law, University of Split as manger of personal data bases, to collect, use and further process data for the purposes of the job application process pursuant to articles 13 and 14 of the General Regulations on the Protection of Data (EU) 2016/679 European Parliament and Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of the individual in relation to processing personal data and on the freedom of movement of such data and to rescinding Directive 95/46/EC (General Regulation on protecting such data), SL EU L119 and Implementing Regulations on the Protection of Personal Data Act (Zakon o provedbi Uredbe o zaštiti osobnih podataka) (Narodne novine, ( National Gazette) no. 42/2018).

Incomplete and late applications shall not be considered.
