Job Summary
The John M. Long School of Music at Troy University is seeking an outstanding teacher/performer of Tuba/Euphonium with a significant background in Western music history.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and recruit applied tuba and euphonium students; teach Western music history courses; additional teaching may include Class Brass, Advanced Brass Pedagogy, Brass Chamber Ensembles, and/or other courses as determined by the needs of the School of Music and candidate expertise; participate in shared governance through service to the School, College, and University.
The start date for the position is August 1, 2026. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Tuba or Euphonium Performance.
