Job Description

Nevada State University School of Nursing invites applications for the position of 12-Month Lecturer of Nursing. The Lecturer of Nursing is primarily dedicated to a growing on-the-ground pre-licensure BSN program. The successful applicant will minimally hold an MSN degree, an unencumbered Nevada Registered Nurse license or ability to obtain prior to employment and at least three years of direct patient care experience.

About the School of Nursing at Nevada State:

We are seeking outstanding nurse educators to work alongside dedicated faculty and staff in a highly collegial, interdisciplinary environment based on Caring Science. In the School of Nursing, Caring Science is infused throughout the curriculum and influences how faculty, staff, and students interact to achieve the institutional teaching mission. As a faculty member, your primary teaching assignment may include both lab/clinical and/or didactic instruction, based upon operational needs.

About the institution:

Designated a Hispanic Serving (HSI) and Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Institution (AANAPI), Nevada State is a university where teaching and student support are valued above all else.
