Your New Role!

We are seeking an academic Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) and Discipline Lead in Information Technology to join Murdoch University’s Dubai campus. This role provides academic leadership of the Information Technology portfolio, whilst delivering high quality teaching, contributing to research and/or creative practice, industry engagement, and student success.

Working collaboratively with colleagues in Dubai and Perth, the position supports curriculum delivery and innovation, accreditation alignment, and the continued growth of the Information Technology discipline.

This position includes appointment as Discipline Lead for Information Technology, with a 20% workload allocation. As the Discipline Lead, you will contribute to curriculum innovation, portfolio growth, accreditation alignment, and the strategic development of the Information Technology discipline, in line with Murdoch University’s strategic goals.

What you’ll bring to the role

A Doctoral degree (PhD) in Information Technology or a related discipline.

Experience in tertiary teaching, assessment, and curriculum delivery.

Research and/or creative practice appropriate to discipline and career stage.

Academic leadership or coordination experience.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, transnational environment.
