Lecturer / Senior Lecturer – Teaching and Research

About the role

  • Location: Kensington Campus, Sydney, New South Wales

We are seeking a Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) in the School of Private and Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law & Justice UNSW. We welcome applications from scholars with research expertise and a capacity to teach in one or more of the following areas of private law: Equity and trusts, Land and property law, Contracts, Torts.

Skills and Experience

For Level B: A PhD in Law or a related discipline (or equivalent). Capacity for high-quality research publications and clear research plans. Demonstrated capacity to teach effectively at tertiary level.

For Level C: A PhD in Law or a related discipline (or equivalent). A demonstrated track record of research, with evidence of publications of high quality and impact, and the capacity for research leadership. Experience in successfully recruiting and/or supervising high calibre HDR students.
