About the Role
As Lecturer in the Mathematical Sciences, you will contribute to high‑quality teaching, impactful research, and active participation in governance and service. You will strengthen the School’s research profile in areas such as nonlinear partial differential equations, geometric analysis, differential geometry, and curvature flows, with particular interest in expertise related to the Cartan–Hadamard conjecture, target curve flow, or Sobolev curvature flows. The role includes developing and delivering engaging learning experiences, supervising students, contributing to curriculum enhancement, and maintaining a program of education‑focused research to support continuous improvement in teaching and learning. You will also participate in School and Faculty governance and help foster a positive, inclusive academic culture. This is an on‑campus role, with the successful candidate expected to be based at the Wollongong Campus for the majority of the time.
