Lectureship in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
Applications are invited for the above post in the School of Medicine. The successful candidates will play a key role in teaching, research and leadership. The successful candidate will support the delivery of the 2-year MSc in Diagnostic Radiography and MSc Radiation Therapy programmes and teach and coordinate elements of the postgraduate MSc in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy online. The successful candidate will have a BSc or MSc in Diagnostic Radiography, or other related disciplines and ideally have a PhD or equivalent. Duties will include practice education coordination, research-led clinical and classroom teaching, development of new course offerings, research supervision, and participation in discipline, school, and college committees. We expect to recruit hardworking people committed to excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and research dissemination. The role is in-person, primarily based in University College Cork, Brookfield Health Sciences Complex, Cork. Applicants without a doctorate should be prepared to embark on a research trajectory that includes publications and the completion of a PhD.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer (Below the Bar) Salary Scale: €42,102 - €72,452 (Scale B) / €44,169 - €68,942 (Scale A).
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
