The Allen Lab at the University of Manchester is looking for a Research Assistant with strong immunology skills to provide maternity leave cover for 9 months. The RA will support an ongoing research project on the role of B cells and macrophages in the protective immune response to helminth infection.
Experience with immunological techniques, and ability to understand the immunology underlying the project is essential. Also essential is the ability to work as part of a dynamic team, supporting and contributing to projects across the lab focussed on the cross-talk between immune cells and the extra-cellular matrix.
