Licensed Practical Nurse
The OSU Total Health Care Center (THCC) is a primary care practice that received Federally Qualified Health Center status in September 2019. The mission of the practice is to utilize an inter-professional TEAMcare approach to provide quality efficient care and management of both acute and chronic illnesses; care for the underserved population; and teach inter-professional care and best practices to multiple disciplines within the health sciences.
The LPN is a professional nurse who provides nursing care to the patients at The Ohio State University Total Health Care Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The LPN serves as one of the primary initial contacts with clinical services by providing patient care, obtaining patient reason for visit, vital signs, and other clinical information; assisting providers with procedures; administering injections and other medications, carrying out clinical orders, and documenting all information in the electronic health record.
Desired Qualifications: 0-2 years work experience in a primary care setting preferred.
Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Practical Nursing, Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio, CPR certification; must have reliable transportation.
