HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The essential duties and responsibilities of theAdministrative Specialist III are the following:
Support Student Field Placement:
- Under supervision of and in coordination with ABA Program Director, refer graduate students to fieldwork sites and provide ongoing advisement to students regarding field experiences. Help to resolve student issues in field placements, including re-placement of students and re-evaluation of agreements when needed.
Fieldwork Site Evaluation:
- Maintain database of graduate student fieldwork placement sites and associated quality metrics. Establish and monitor related quality standards for fieldwork sites and practicum partners.
Manage Fieldwork Site Communication and Conduct Site Visits:
- Perform virtual or in-person visits to fieldwork placements sites and practicum partners to evaluate quality of training experience and alignment with quality metrics. Respond to external inquiries and communicate with external stakeholders (e.g., schools and agencies) about student field experiences and practicum partnership opportunities.
Establish and Review Practicum and Field Placement Agreements:
- Support program faculty in establishing formal agreements and partnerships with fieldwork sites that meet quality standards. Monitor ongoing alignment of sites and field experiences with established agreements.
Maintain Necessary Documentation:
- Maintain paperwork and documentation related to student field experiences (e.g., memoranda of understanding, student supervision contracts with field supervisors, student fieldwork records). Coordinate with other departments and units as needed.
Please Note: This position will be evaluated each year based on the candidate's performance, contribution to the program, and continued funding. It is limited term, so the position has a maximum of two years.
Qualifications
Minimum Hiring Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and four years administrative experience; or a high school diploma or GED and eight years administrative experience; or a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications
- Master's degree in behavior analysis or a related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Credential and familiarity with BCBA supervision and experience requirements
- Professional experience in applied behavior analysis.
