Offer Description
The selected person will join the Translational Research Group in Respiratory Medicine of IRBLleida, within the research line "Management of obstructive sleep apnea in overweight or obese older adults", within the framework of project PP11001 - "Management of obstructive sleep apnea in overweight or obese older adults: Randomized clinical trial (SAMUEL Study)".
Some of the tasks that will be carried out are:
- Support for the coordination of the clinical trial, including the coordination and monitoring of the follow-up of the participating patients, the scheduling and management of visits and communication with the different professionals involved in the study (research team, pharmacy, etc.).
- Collection, review, and entry of clinical data (data entry) from field sources and clinical records, as well as management and updating of data capture platforms (eCRFs).
- Support in the management of the study documentation, including the maintenance and updating of the documentation necessary for the monitoring of the trial.
- Support in the management of biological samples according to the procedures established in the study protocol.

- Master's degree related to clinical trials or clinical research
- Bachelor’s degree grade of 7 out of 10 or higher
- English proficiency at B2 level (to be supported by appropriate documentation)
- High level of proficiency, both oral and written, in the official languages (Catalan and Spanish)
Experience
- Experience or expertise in supporting the coordination of clinical trials or research studies
- Experience using SAP and/or eCRF clinical data capture and management platforms
- Experience in document management and monitoring of documentation related to clinical trials or research projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office automation tools
- Demonstrable experience in the processing and/or handling of biological samples
- Experience in healthcare settings with direct patient care

Characteristics of the contract
- Indefinite contract for scientific and technical activities, in accordance with the provisions of Article 23 of Law 17/2022, of 5 September, amending Law 14/2011, of 1 June, on Science, Technology and Innovation. The contractual modality is of indefinite duration, with specific clauses linked to the financing of the project in accordance with art. 49 1.b. and art. and 52.e). of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of 23 October, which approves the revised text of the Workers' Statute Law.
- The amount granted to finance personnel costs is €8,097. This amount will cover the annual gross salary of the person hired, as well as the expenses of the employer's guarantee contribution.
- Funding of the activity: PP11001 - "SAMUEL Study: Management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea in Overweight or Obese Older Adults: Randomized Clinical Trial"
- Contract Duration: In the project work program, personnel costs are expected to be developed in approximately 3 months.
- If there are changes to the work programme, the possibility of modifying the period will be assessed (the duration of the contract is linked to the specific funding of the project/agreement).
