Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives incoming materials, supplies, parts, and equipment purchased by the university.
- Checks requisitions and packing lists for agreement.
- Places items received on storage shelves and arranges items by type or category
- Checks inventory levels of items to ensure that proper levels are maintained.
- Drives university vehicles to locations on campus to deliver materials, and to off campus locations to pick up items ordered.
- Assists delivery trucks drivers in unloading materials or supplies received.
- Assists the supervisor with the coordination with vendors, the delivery of all material orders placed by the Department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Any combination of training and experience equivalent to a High School Diploma.
- Some experience in stockroom work.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Successful completion of Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
