Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

Join UC's Facilities Management team and help keep our $1.4 billion asset portfolio running safely, smoothly, and sustainably.

As our Maintenance Programme Supervisor, you'll be implementing and administering our planned maintenance programme within our Integrated Work Management System (Planon). You'll work with our subject matter experts to create structured maintenance plans to minimise faults, reduce downtime, and ensure compliance with legal, health and safety, and operational standards. This is a pivotal role in maintaining business-ready facilities for staff, students, and visitors.

You will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and administering planned maintenance tasks and reporting on costs, schedules, and performance in our Integrated Work Management System (Planon)
  • Coordinating with multiple trades to deliver timely, compliant and high-quality work
  • Work closely with the FM Helpdesk team, and provide backup when required, ensuring timely responses to mechanical, electrical, building, and cleaning service requests
  • Supporting project administration, asset operations reporting, and data cleansing and coordinating asset data
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance delivery and processes.

Mōu | Who You Are

You will have at least 10+ years' experience managing or administering a comprehensive planned maintenance system or equivalent, as well be able to demonstrate:

  • A high-level numeracy and computer literacy (Excel, Project, Word)
  • Proven ability to analyse financial and project information, including experience creating invoices, purchase orders and accurately reconcile data
  • A proactive, detail-focused, and highly organised approach
  • Hands on experience managing relationships with multiple trades
