Remuneration: $169,373 to $189,440 pa (HEW10) (inclusive of $143,122 to $160,079 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Manager, Digital Technology Delivery to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.

The Manager, Digital Technology Delivery is a key role within the Enterprise Technology portfolio and is responsible for the overall delivery of learning space, enabling technology, and core infrastructure initiatives for the Enterprise Technology Portfolio. Working closely with the Digital Technology Portfolio Manager, this role is responsible for the planning, resourcing and overarching performance of the delivery streams across Digital Technology. The position manages issues across delivery, and coordinating the appropriate response to delivery changes, challenges and escalations. The Manager, Digital Technology Delivery will build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, in addition to managing the relationships with key delivery partners. As a key member of the Enterprise Technology leadership team, this role is also key to balancing delivery demand and dependencies across the operational teams and will work closely with the other managers across Digital Technology when BAU teams are required or involved in delivery activities.

What you need to succeed

  1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to postgraduate qualification together with extensive relevant experience within an information technology area ideally in the higher education sector.
  2. Proven leadership ability with experience in maintaining a coherent team culture focused at achieving organisation goals.
  3. Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgement in developing policies, strategies and innovative business solutions across the Delivery management lifecycle.
  4. Demonstrated advanced ability to cultivate and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships, with stakeholders to achieve outcomes
  5. Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, including the ability to establish positive working relationships with management, inspire employees and influence internal clients and external organisations in delivering high quality business solution options for QUT.
  6. Proven success in contributing to or leading projects in a diverse and rapidly changing complex environments.
  7. Demonstrated experience in leading technology / infrastructure teams and adopting modern approaches to enable the delivery of quality outcomes.
