Manager, Law School Personnel Strategy & Administration
The Manager, Law School Personnel Strategy & Administration is responsible for managing the execution of the law school personnel strategy initiatives of the Assistant Dean of Finance & Administration, the Law School Vice Dean and the Dean, School of Law and guiding the staffing-related processes for law school full-time benefits based and part-time personnel. The Manager serves as a key administrative liaison between law school personnel, the law school Dean suite and the University's HR department to best meet the personnel objectives of the University and fulfill the mission of the School of Law.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of HR liaison functions for law school staff and administrators to include: Strategizing and brainstorming hiring solutions and alternatives to meet school staffing and business needs; Consulting and collaborating with leadership and managers on law school departmental reorganizations; Provide recommendations and guidance on team structures; Coordinate and collaborate with University HR on confidential HR matters; Generating and maintaining reports on active staff/admin; Participating in interview panels; Assisting with applicant screenings; Overseeing recruitment, hiring and on-boarding processes; Provide training, guidance, and assistance with processes for contingent workers and temporary staff; Manages hiring and onboarding for LS undergraduate FWS clerical support positions; Coordinating student hiring; Manage confidential information; Guiding personnel in handling human resources functions; Serves as subject matter expert in Workday and PageUp.
- Supervises Lead Faculty Assistant; Liaisons with Dean's office on faculty needs; Monitors Faculty Development budgets; Assists with Faculty Research budget; Develops onboarding guidelines; Works with Associate Dean on faculty hiring; Assists with Research Assistant processes; Serves as training lead for new systems; Coordinates with Lead Faculty Assistant on budgets and procedures; Engages with senior leadership on personnel initiatives.
- Identifies and coordinates professional development opportunities; Executes professional development budgeting; Supports initiatives for staff and faculty community building; Liaisons on personnel concerns; Manages Staff/Admin Town Hall meetings.
- Oversees data coordination for U.S. News & World Report and ABA reports; Handles miscellaneous filing and record-keeping.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of three years' experience in business administration or higher education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of supervisory experience required, two or more years preferred.
- Experience in human resources management preferred.

Posting Salary:
$5,720 - $5,833.33 per month; Excellent benefits.
