Description
The Manager, Learning Commons, is responsible for managing the daily operations of the UCM Learning Commons by ensuring that effective academic tutoring is provided to all undergraduate students. This position is responsible for administering the Writing Center and Online Writing Lab (OWL) services provided to UCM students and for recruiting and training student tutors, including embedded tutors and supplemental instructors. The Manager, Learning Commons, assures a high degree of constituent service is provided in a walk-in model, on an appointment basis, and to online students. This position produces marketing materials for the entire Learning Commons to actively promote services and connect with students.
