Manager
Position Description
Manages a sub unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures. Represents the sub unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.
Major/Essential Functions
- Oversee all aspects of Marketing and Communication for individual career development programs and employer programs.
- Research and implement strategies on content creation, social media and other digital forms of outreach to students, employers and alumni.
- Coordinate marketing design and social media efforts to promote the University Career Center
- Promote Career Center's services across campus using selected media channels
- Build and maintain relationships with various vendors , and print and digital service providers
- Review and approve content created for various external media outlets i.e.,The Daily Toreador, The Texas Techan magazine, etc
- Serve on selected TTU committees to increase departmental awareness of new and viable marketing trends
- Lead cross functional internal teams in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for media blitzes , perennial, and ad hoc programs.
- Analyze and report marketing campaign performances and feedback
- Other duties as assigned.
