Managing Director of Development, College Advancement
Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with Marquette University in the search for a Managing Director of Development, College Advancement.
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, College Advancement, the Managing Director of Development, College Advancement will provide strategic leadership and direction for fundraising in the Colleges of Communication, Health Sciences, Dental School, and Nursing. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, College Advancement, this role serves as both a lead fundraiser—maintaining a personal portfolio of major and principal gift prospects—and a manager of a team of four major gift officers. The Managing Director will partner closely with deans and faculty across the assigned colleges to establish fundraising priorities, cultivate relationships with top donors and volunteers, and ensure alignment with Marquette's strategic plan.

A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least seven years of related experience in nonprofit organizations, with a focus on major gift level fundraising, is required for this position. Experience working within higher education with a college/school focus and/or within healthcare with unit support is ideal.
