As a Marketing Design Production Specialist at Alexandria College, you’ll be a key member of our Marketing Communications team—coordinating, designing, and producing materials that support student recruitment and retention, special events, academic programs, athletics, strategic initiatives, and so much more. From stickers and signage to slide decks and social media, your work helps Alexandria College shine and inspires students to aim for the future.

Bring Ideas to Life: Design bold, on-brand visuals for print and web that grab attention and get results.

Make It Print-Perfect: Prep, print, and finish high-quality materials that look as good in hand as they do on screen.

Collaborate Across Campus: Partner with faculty, staff, and leadership to pull off events, launch strategic initiatives, and keep the wheels turning behind the scenes.

Own Your Workflow: Juggle multiple projects like a pro, keep projects on track, and let the ideas flow.

Be our Brand’s Best Friend: Keep our visuals sharp and consistent by making sure everything we create looks, feels, and sounds like us.

This person will report directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications.

Salary Range: $24.65 to $34.65 Per Hour; $51,469 to $72,349 Annually

Minimum Qualifications: Two years of professional work experience in marketing design; an Associate Degree in graphic design or similar field can substitute for six months of experience. Demonstrated visual design skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create visually appealing and user-centered designs. Proficiency in creating graphics and layouts using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Strong spelling, punctuation, grammar, and proofreading skills to create accurate content for varied audiences and platforms (print and web). Organizational and planning skills to manage projects, identify priorities, and meet timelines with little supervision. General knowledge of business marketing best practices and print production standards.

Preferred Qualifications: Skills in print production and finishing techniques. Ability to write and edit compelling copy for ads, publications, features, and other media. Understanding of ADA accessibility standards for documents and digital media.
