Mascot Athlete and Spotter

Gogebic Community College is seeking students for a part-time position in the Marketing Department as the Mascot Athlete and Spotter.
This position pays $12.00 per hour and hours may vary per week.

Job Description:

• Students will be required to wear the GCC mascot costume and perform at different events at the college and in the community. This will include meetand-greet events with the public and halftime performances at GCC sporting events.
• Students will also double as a spotter to the student wearing the mascot costume. Both the student wearing the mascot and working as the spotter
  will perform duties outlined by the marketing department and act in accordance with the mascot training guidelines provided.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Physically able to perform cardio activity for 30 minutes.

Federal Work Study Application Process

Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

1. Have a complete Financial Aid Application (FAFSA and all supporting documents).
   2. Be approved for Federal Work Study (FWS) on your Financial Aid Notification.
   3. Complete and submit the Federal Work Study Application.
   4. One your application is reviewed the Office of Student Financial Aid will notify you using your GCC email.
   5. Be in good academic standing.
