Departmental Overview
The Statistics Department, in the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society (CDSS), was originally established in 1938 as the first center in the country for statistical research. The Master's in Statistics and Data Science is a full-time professional degree program completed over two to three semesters and designed to prepare students for careers in industry. The program enrolls approximately 100 students annually.
The Master's Program Director provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Master's in Statistics and Data Science program.
